Almost there!

Well, Two Lives, Two World Wars, the companion volume to Echoes of Old Watford, Bushey & Oxhey, is almost finished! So many people and organisations have kindly helped in different ways and are all acknowledged in the book. The text - 78,000+ words - includes extracts from my father's letters whilst he was in India and Burma during World War II while my grandfather's first-hand account of his experience at Gallipoli is also included. It has been a long journey in terms of research, writing and also identifying suitable photographs. All that remains now, with the ISBN number sorted, is to double-check that all is well and forward it to the printers. Watch this space for further news!
